Paul Berryman


With over 30 years experience as a Public Analyst, Trading Standards Chief and CEO of Leatherhead Food Research, Paul can help you solve your scientific and regulatory problems. He is Technical Adviser to The Health Food Manufacturers' Association (HFMA) and is a visiting Professor at the University of Reading, School of Chemistry Food and Pharmacy and has access to all the latest food research and publications.

With 5 years of NPD Experience at Bakels Ltd, plus 2 years at BFS Ltd, Alex can help you with both on-site and desk-based research projects. Key experience includes complete formulation of dough or cake systems and application of enzyme, raising agent, emulsifier and hydrocolloid technologies. Alex also conducts Nutrition and Health Claim checks, reformulations, cost redevelopment projects and ingredient permissibility studies.
